This Privacy Policy explains how Bernardo Langer, doing business as Metroplex Media Lab ("Metroplex Media Lab," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit metroplexmedialab.com (the "Site"), contact us, or buy a package from us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and consistent with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act).

• Free preview form: your website address and email address. When you submit it, we send your website address to Google PageSpeed Insights to measure its speed, accessibility and search basics, and we show you the results.
• Question form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the package you are asking about, your current website (optional), and your message.
• Onboarding form after a purchase: your business name, your name, email address, phone number, current website, a description of your business and customers, your preferences for the new site, and any links to files you share with us.
• Purchases: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, billing address, and the name, business name and phone number requested at checkout. We receive the details of your purchase, but not your full card number.
• Information from direct contact: if you email, call, text (SMS), or message us on WhatsApp (+1 214-901-7315), we receive the contact details and content you choose to share.
• Technical data collected automatically: our hosting and security provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, approximate location and pages visited, for the security and operation of the Site.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your personal information.

• To provide, manage, and deliver services you engage us for.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers / processors that help us operate, which process data on our behalf: Web3Forms (form submissions), Stripe (payments and sales-tax calculation), Google (PageSpeed Insights website checks), Cloudflare (hosting, security and privacy-friendly visit statistics), our email provider, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp/Meta if you contact us through them.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Metroplex Media Lab or others.

5. Cookies, local storage and "Do Not Track"

Our Site does not use its own advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not track users across third-party websites over time. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and gives us only aggregated statistics. The Site stores your language choice (English or Spanish) in your browser's local storage so it is remembered on your next visit. Stripe's checkout pages, which are hosted on Stripe's own domain, use cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, as disclosed in accordance with CalOPPA. Third-party content or links (for example, WhatsApp) are governed by their own privacy policies.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal data:

• Texas residents (TDPSA): you may request to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling. • California residents (CalOPPA / CCPA where applicable): you may review the personal information we hold, request changes, and ask how your information is handled.

We keep your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Purchase and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
